1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and Sean Rakidzich ("we," "us," or "our") governing your access to and use of the YouTube Transcript Extractor service at sr-demo-ai.com (the "Service").

2. Description of Service

The Service provides a tool to extract text transcripts from publicly available YouTube videos. The Service:

• Retrieves transcript data from YouTube's public APIs and/or caption systems
• Formats and displays the transcript text for you
• Allows you to copy or download the transcript in various formats

The Service does not host, store, or redistribute video content from YouTube.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years of age to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that:

• You are at least 16 years old
• You have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms
• Your use of the Service will not violate any applicable laws or regulations

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree NOT to:

• Use the Service to violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party rights
• Extract transcripts for commercial purposes that infringe on content creators' intellectual property rights
• Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Service in a manner that exceeds reasonable use
• Attempt to interfere with, compromise, or disable the Service
• Circumvent any security measures or access restrictions
• Use the Service to distribute malware, spam, or other harmful content
• Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation
• Use extracted transcripts in ways that violate YouTube's Terms of Service
• Republish transcripts without appropriate attribution to original content creators

5. Intellectual Property

5.1 Our Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, code, and branding (the ".R" mark), is owned by Sean Rakidzich and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of the Service without our express written permission.

5.2 Third-Party Content

The transcripts you extract through the Service are derived from YouTube videos created by third-party content creators. These transcripts may be protected by copyright and other intellectual property rights belonging to the original content creators.

5.3 Fair Use and Attribution

When using extracted transcripts, consider:

• Fair use principles applicable in your jurisdiction
• Providing proper attribution to the original content creator
• The purpose and character of your use (educational, transformative, etc.)
• The amount of content used in relation to the whole
• The effect on the potential market for the original work

6. YouTube and Third-Party Services

The Service interacts with YouTube to retrieve transcript data. By using our Service, you acknowledge that:

• YouTube is a separate service with its own Terms of Service
• YouTube may change its APIs or terms at any time, which may affect our Service
• We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by YouTube or Google
• Availability of transcripts depends on YouTube's systems and the video settings chosen by content creators

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

We do not warrant that:

• The Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
• Transcripts will be accurate, complete, or up-to-date
• The Service will meet your specific requirements
• Any errors or defects will be corrected
• The Service will be available at all times

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SEAN RAKIDZICH SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM:

• Your access to or use of (or inability to access or use) the Service
• Any conduct or content of any third party on or related to the Service
• Any content obtained from the Service
• Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content

IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU EXCEED ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100) OR THE AMOUNT YOU HAVE PAID US IN THE PAST TWELVE MONTHS, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

9. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Sean Rakidzich and any affiliates, contractors, or agents from and against any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or debt arising from:

• Your use of the Service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any third-party right, including intellectual property rights
• Any content you share or distribute that was obtained through the Service

10. Modifications to the Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part thereof) at any time, with or without notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuance of the Service.

We may revise these Terms at any time by updating this page. The "Last updated" date at the top indicates when the Terms were last revised. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Sean Rakidzich regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.

16. No Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not be deemed a waiver of such right or provision. Any waiver must be in writing and signed by us to be effective.
